First of all? New comm name for the LJ comm. Much love to Jag for doing this.
+ I... have actually been resting up for most of my days off. This feels very good. I apparently needed that (and the flu that caught up with me was a pretty emphatic sign of that). And while I maybe didn't do as many things I wanted to? I feel good right now.
+ I have been keeping good track of food, eating healthy food (mmm strawberries...). I was for almost two complete days without any chocolate, too, and keeping mostly away from making up for that.
+ Exercise is toned down. But I still do walks, and some stuff around the house.
- Cleaning. Which, I am planning to do something about in a bit.
- Writing. Uhhh. Just about nothing done. Possibly the downswing to keeping my distance from some muses for a bit. Will work on that, hopefully tonight.
+ Knitting. (!yes.) I decided to give a try to Dark Angel, and when I'm not lying down for it, I can and have come back to knitting. It's a bit hard when the cat decides he wants lap time TOO, but I manage. :-P
- Reading. Ummm. That includes both books and works I've committed to reading. I do feel bad about that. And am working through it.
+ Sleep. Days off. I'm catching up like whoa. Maybe still with a shifted schedule, but I'm getting some.
+/- Mindset. I'm much steadier there, or at least it feels closer to normal. I suspect the energy I have available for it is still at lower levels, but I'm feeling a lot more like tackling things that seemed intimidating one, two weeks ago? That doesn't mean I'll do it well, of course, but things aren't looming frightening around me, but instead I'm reacting with, once again, coming up with ideas of how to deal with them (not necessarily best ideas, but ideas!), and reactions such as anger or irritation rather than shying away and looking for a way to hide away. (Okay, that's still there. It's just not the most prominent / overwhelming part of the reaction.) Mood swings are still in evidence... but I have better reasons for them, as in things happening.
Right. Tea, and some tidying and cleaning now. Baby steps. I can do.Even if what I want to do is play the next ep of DA. >.> Will power. Must apply.
